About Us

Politeknik Negeri Jakarta MICE Study Program is hosting the International Scientific Conference of MICE for the third time with ISCOMICE 2025. The conference focuses on fostering international discussions about current trends of the International Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The program features a plenary session on research-driven innovations and various perspectives by multidisciplinary professionals. Parallel sessions will include presentations of scientific papers by presenters, followed by reviews and discussions from expert reviewers.

ISCOMICE 2025, themed “Innovating for Sustainability: Transforming MICE and Tourism for Global Impact,” aims to advance sustainability across the MICE, hospitality, and tourism sectors. This theme highlights the importance of a scientific and research-based approach in promoting sustainable innovation in the global MICE and tourism sectors. Through scientific studies and academic publications, these sectors can adopt technologies for sustainable event planning and execution to reduce environmental impact. The theme invites stakeholders to use research findings as a guide to lead change, ensuring the industry remains competitive while contributing to global sustainability.

The MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sector plays a pivotal role in connecting various stakeholders, from Event Organizers to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). As the MICE sector emerges as a driving force in global tourism, it not only influences the industry but also the economy of the host country. However, this growth comes with its set of challenges, and research efforts aim to uncover opportunities, prospects, and development priorities for MICE tourism while addressing the complexities faced by MICE agencies. Events, classified as powerful motivators for tourism, dominate the development and marketing strategies of destinations worldwide. Therefore, the ISCOMICE 2025 provides a platform to discuss the advancing growth of the tourism industry with the theme “Innovating for Sustainability: Transforming MICE and Tourism for Global Impact,” fostering international discussions between stakeholders of the industry.
